Akeno Himawari Festival
This event is held in Himawari-no-sato in August. Nearly 1.5 million Yae-Himawari (double-fold sunflowers) are grown in Himawari-no-sato. A carpet of sunflowers covers the entire area and provides a spectacular view in summer.
